Wish this place was in West Cobb! Pizza, gnocchi, gelato, and apple rhubarb bread pudding are absolutely amazing and authentic Italian food. I love Neapolitan pizza and I purchased the Parmenze pizza and I’ll tell you there is a full slice of prosciutto on each slice! We were watching them make the food and the chef/owner puts his hands on every dish. Multiple awards were displayed around the restaurant. I plan on returning and bringing the rest of my family.

The place needs an upgrade, the restaurant entrance needs a makeover. The food is good, but it was cold. The staff are not very friendly. Anyway, the place is good, but it needs an upgrade.

I'll first start by saying that the owner was super friendly, informative, and helpful. Also, the pizza was fantastic, with fresh ingredients and a great balance of flavors. However, the rest of the staff was inexplicably unfriendly and my cacio e pepe was swimming in olive oil (see photo). I thought that the bread pudding was very tasty but the affogato had way too much amaretto. It was, overall, an inconsistent and unappealing experience.

The homemade pasta and secret recipe sausage is to die for - and then there’s the gelato! Gingerbread last night for me, and it was so delicious! Thank you as always, Michael and Nikki!

The only thing that could be better is if it were closer to my house!

We ordered take out online. 45 min wait. Arrive to pick up food and it had not even started to be prepared. Stood at the door for an additional 30 min waiting on our order. No apologies from staff, no discount on a future order or simple gesture to make up for the mistake. We have dined inside the restaurant a few times before. The service is always slow but the food is pretty good. I was extremely disappointed in the service this visit and probably won’t return. As a resident of downtown woodstock I love to support all of our local businesses but also expect better treatment by the business in return.

Woe, where do I begin… from start to finish, I felt like I was on possibly a movie scene of a hidden camera show. Restaurant was empty, we arrived at 5:30 pm, asked if we had reservations…. Luckily they were able to seat us, they only had 30 open tables. Service was pretty awful all around, wine was definitely overpriced and served in a “large shot glass”, bread and pizza we ordered was pretty good, also ordered the buitoni dish, zero flavor and watery. Waited about 20 minutes and had to get the waitress’s attention to send it back. She felt very displeased and unapologetic that we were unhappy with our food… The entire vibe of the place was very strange. I got the impression the owner wants to make people think it’s a higher quality experience than what it is. Needless to say we won’t be back, but glad we got to experience such an adventurous night.

If you’ve ever been to Italy and love it…you need to eat at this restaurant. The food is incredible and always fresh. We had a pizza as an appetizer, a couple different pasta dishes as well as the gelato for dessert. Everything was outstanding!

I love the food here so much, I have been coming to this place since I was a little kid. I appreciate how they treat the customers so much. I’ve worked at an Italian restaurant before and the food here is just a 10/10. True traditional Italian food. The pasta and pizzas are made fresh here, the gelatos are made here as well! Definitely would recommend coming to Vingenzo’s if you’ve never been!
