2/2021: So, apparently Rodrigo Ugarte/Rodrigo Denes has changed the name of his "company" to "S" instead of its' former name Denes Painting and Restoration (LLC dissolved by the state and court order). If you are considering him and reading these reviews, find yourself an actual honest, licensed contractor. Do not use Rodrigo Denes/Rodrigo Ugarte. He will cash your check, never produce materials or complete the work that you paid for and you will not hear from him again.
I have had a similar experience to the previous review. Hiring this company has been a nightmare from the beginning. Constant no shows, lack of work completion, calls not returned and/or vague responses. I am still waiting for the job to be completed and have not heard from the owner on exactly when that will be. I am disgusted at the dishonesty with this company and would not recommend them to anyone.
Update 12/1/2020: I want to reiterate the reviews on this company. Look up his business and all of the reviews coming out across multiple sites on the owner. The owner has stolen my money (savings actually) and that of other homeowners and refuses to respond to complete the work and/or return the money he took. This is criminal.... If you are considering using Rodrigo Denes/Ugarte.. Don't! He may change the name of his company so, remember his name. He is a complete fraud and frankly a thief. If he stole money from a business the way he does homeowners, he would be in jail.
