We cannot thank Lou enough for everything she did for us on our special day at Chateau Puissentut. The moment we spoke with Lou, we knew we had found a gem, and trust was immediately felt.

Planning a wedding in another country can feel daunting, but Lou helped guide our ideas and made them happen, and for that, we are forever grateful.

Our day was honestly perfect from start to finish - we wouldn’t change a thing!

Lou kept everything flowing, nothing was too much trouble, and she worked with all our suppliers with ease. Lou’s styling and creative ideas are simply amazing, everywhere you turned, Lou had sprinkled more of her ‘fairy dust’ to make everything look effortlessly beautiful - she even managed to bring the sun out for us and work around the Olympic torch ;-), what a hero!

We never wanted a traditional wedding, the crowds or all the splendor that comes with it. Always dreamt of a relaxed, boho, intimate ceremony in the middle of nowhere on a warm summer afternoon.
We've searched the ends of the internet for a planner that could make this vision a reality. When we stumbled upon French bague- ette we knew we've hit the jackpot! Her Instagram page looked like a well curated wedding inspo Pinterest board. While each of Lou's weddings looked unique, they all had that same amazing vibe- it's what we later dubbed the 'Lou factor'.
Lou herself is one of the sweetest women we've met. She almost instantly picked up on our vision and led us down the path of planning with a very relaxed yet professional manner. She was as excited as we were and never failed to remain one hundred percent optimistic.
Every supplier she recommended was absolutely spot on. She has liased with many people in the industry over the years and works mostly with those she trusts and is compatible with and it really shows on the day.
She has impeccable taste, great intuition and unmatched organisational skills. We went with her galaxy package and it really and truly ment we didn't have to worry about anything bar the attire and rings. She even organised lunch and some wine tasting for us and our guests a few days prior to the wedding.
Our big day itself ran so smoothly and was more that we ever wished for.
Lou is extremely creative and so amazing at her job that we're pretty sure she could throw a wedding in space for you if such was your wish. We cannot recommend her enough.

We were so excited to be able to have our wedding in the same place we got engaged and being that we live in the States, the logistics was quite an undertaking. After getting engaged, the stress of wedding planning set in. We knew we did not want a big traditional wedding that most dream of, but we wanted a memorable day with our closest family and friends. We just did not know how to put our dreams into reality. That’s when, on a whim, we came across Lou of French Bague-ette on the internet. With a leap of faith, we sent her an inquiry, and before we knew it, we were video chatting with someone who immediately felt like a friend. We planned our entire wedding long distance and put every ounce of faith in someone we had never met in person. She listened to what we wanted our wedding day to be, and she assured us it was all possible. Her sweet, calming nature and her passion for her work shines through every aspect of the planning process. Her recommendations for vendors were unmatched, from the photographer, to the band, florist, venue, celebrant and so much more. She thought of absolutely everything, from the logistics, to the smallest decor details, it was all perfectly beautiful. We still smile when we think about this day, one year later. Lou went above and beyond what we could have asked, she didn't just plan our wedding day. She made sure we had dinner reservations at the most wonderful restaurants, and enjoyed all the beauty Biarritz has to offer during our entire stay. There is so much more we could say, but it’s almost impossible to put it all into words.
