Dr. Gilmer is a good listener and really seems to care. He couldn't help me, but he helped me narrow down the diagnostic path I must take. Which is still worth 5 stars!

Dr. Gilmer spent over an hour with me during my first appointment to make sure he fully understood what was going on with me. He refused to make assumptions. He performed the appropriate tests and found a diagnosis. He then prescribed medicine that I needed to manage my condition. I have always been seen quickly and treated respectfully by the staff. I really appreciate the fact that he didn't dismiss my symptoms even though they were odd.

Dr. Gilmer is an outstanding doctor that listens to and helps his patients. I had suffered from daily chronic headaches for more than 15 years. I had been to several doctors before. A few tried unsuccessfully, and a few didn’t even try to help. I had given up until a doctor friend of mine told me to go to Dr. Gilmer. I was skeptical, but Dr. Gilmer believed me, listened closely to my description of symptoms, and started treating me on the very first visit. He got my headaches down to a level where I feel like a human being again. He restored my faith in doctors and I thank my lucky stars for him. He believed me when no one else did. His staff is terrific too.

Dr. Gilmer has always been a very caring physician. I've had migraines for years, and he's always there with a smile & proper help for me. He listens and talks with you about solutions. Mrs Ariana Minton is the best. Every one there is nice and friendly, I suffered for so many years from migrains and every doctor I went would tell me it's just a headache take over the counter meds. Even one doctor told me if you coming here for drugs we don't prescribed them. I walked away from there... dr ponth recommended me to her and my problem was solved I was diagnosed with chronic migrains and now they are being controlled.

Lost a good 8 months of my life going to this office. We started out okay, he was the first doctor I saw for the diagnosis of my condition. Then he stopped showing up and only a young woman about my age would be at my scheduled appointments (I’m 25). The medication that they chose to start with, my first experiences were just like the worst side effects. The young doctor, because Gilmer stopped showing up, thought it would be a good idea to only increase the medication. Easily angered and annoyed, drowsy, trouble sleeping, depression, low energy. I only listed those every time, not knowing another medication could turn the lights on. Maybe if he had still shown up to my appointments, this wouldn’t of happened. Maybe if she were more educated on the medication or how to work with patients. He placed a lot of responsibility in her hands. Then only reason I was able to try something else is because other people could tell something was wrong.

As a long time patient I always look forward to me appointments with Dr. Gilmer, He has the utmost respect for his patients and great bedside manners. One thing that separates him from the rest of the doctors that I know is that he knows who to refer you to if needed, he will not try to treat something that he is unfamiliar with. His staff is always there for me if I have questions or need to make an appointment.

Dr. Gilmer is always professional and caring about your problems. I have seen him routinely for several years and he always knows what's up with my condition and care. I highly recommend him. Due to his high demand, getting any appointment may require a few days wait, but the wait is very much worth it!
